|How to find G40, Computer Science|
Who are we ?
Full directions to the School of Computer Science can be found here.
Seminar room G40 is located in the far right corner (entering via the main door) of the atrium on the ground floor of the Computer Science building.
If travelling by car, please note that the Grange Road gate is pedestrian access only and the South gate is 'exit only' in the afternoon/evening. Please use the north (Prichatts Road), east (Edgbaston park Road) or west (Vincent Drive) gates. Security don't seem to be too worried about letting peoples cars on campus after hours. The most convenient parking is behind the Public Health Building (No. 15 on campus map) or on the road between chemistry/biology, however spaces here are limited. Additional parking is available on the south side of Chemical Engineering (No. 11) and the West side of Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering (No. 8).
If travelling by bus on the Bristol Road, Routes 61, 62, 63, 64 and cross city route 69. (64 does not stop at Grange road or the South gate, alight at the Fire Station). Alight at Grange Road (Bus stop close to The Brooke pub). Walk onto campus via Grange road turn left at the cross roads on the corner of the playing fields and follow this road all the way along to Chemistry West, where you can follow the pedestrianised route to the station. Computer Science is the building on the left. Note :- The Grange road gate may be closed late in the evening, if so enter campus via the South gate and follow the road that runs across the top of the playing fields.
